Communications & Events Coordinator
Montana is an enthusiastic Communications & Events Coordinator with the Saskatchewan Wheat Development Commission, Morning Wheaties podcast host and In-Game Host for the Saskatoon Blades. Formly a Digital Broadcast Journalist with Global Saskatoon, she graduated from the NAIT Radio & Television program in 2020 in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her Grandfather's legacy as the 11th Premier of Alberta and a two-time Grey Cup champion with Edmonton was a proven influence on her as her passion for politics and sports has shone throughout her career. Montana was drawn into sports journalism for the drive, leadership and challenges of the sports world brought on by her parent's unwavering sense of competition and teamwork and her own experiences as a coach, captain and teammate. Montana aspires to continue striving with a strong, positive presence in all aspects of agriculture, sports and media while constantly learning new ways to improve. Even as an Alberta born and raised small town girl, Montana is thrilled to be working in Saskatchewan - the world's leading producer and exporter of many specialty crops and home to many legendary sports icons.
While Montana has taken on many different roles, she exceeds in communications, public speaking, organization, podcasting, videography and media relations.
